Rhode Island Chiefs Hold Ladies’ Night

The October meeting of the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Rhode Island, and the first ladies night held by the association, took place at Providence on October 8, with Chief Frank Charlesworth of Providence presiding.

The club Chaplain, Rev. Norris T. Morton, participated in the memorial services, held for those members who died since October 1, 1935.

Capts. Norman Jones and Frank Eddredge, Providence Fire Department, gave a demonstration with the aid of working models and chemicals, of how fires are started and how they may be prevented.

Juvenile performers, presented by radio station WPRO, Providence, entertained the two hundred persons who were present.
