At a meeting of the Federal Uniformed Firefighters Association, matters of great importance to the membership were discussed, particularly a bill that was recently introduced in the House of Representatives known as Bill H. R. 2565 relating to salaries paid to federal firefighters. It was brought to the attention of United States Congressman Donald L.
