Salt Lake City (UT) Firefighters Help Rescue Injured Dog

On Sunday, Salt Lake City (UT) firefighters helped animal control officers rescue an injured dog ff the Shoreline Trail above the University of Utah.

KSL.com reported that a crew from Salt Lake Fire Station 10 hiked more than two miles to where the purebred Vizsla was located; the canine had injured his paw and wasn’t moving. Firefighters gave him water and then firefighter Tony Stowe put the dog on his shoulders and carried him down the trail, the report said.
