San Francisco Cover Available in Full Color

We are so pleased vvitli the unusual cover for this issue that we feel you will want to have it in the same size as the original work. So we have reproduced this memento of San Francisco and the IAFC 94th Annual Conference in full color.

The colors of the painting and photographs are delightfully reproduced in artwork measuring 14½ by 19 1/2 inches on high-quality, heavy paper, 18½ by 23⅝ inches. Each full-color reproduction will be individually rolled in a tub? to insure safe delivery to you by mail.

The cover art was done under the direction of our art director, Gordon Draper, who incorporated into the work the tragedy of the earthquake and fire in 1906 and the magnificence of modern San Francisco. The photos of the fire and Chief Dennis T. Sullivan are from the archives of the San Francisco hire Department. The color photos of the monument on Telegraph Hill and the firemen’s statue were made by Chet Born, San Francisco Fire Department official photographer. Chief Sullivan was fatally injured when the earthquake demolished No. 2 Engine House.
