School for Safety Studies Fire Protection

“Fire Protection in the Relation of Safety” was the topic at the January 4th meeting of the School for Safety Supervisors, conducted by the Chicago Safety Council in the auditorium of the Y. M. C. A. Sidney J. Williams, chief engineer of the National Safety Council, and John C. McDonnell, chief of the Chicago Bureau of Fire Prevention, were the speakers. A syllabus of Mr. Williams’ lecture was prepared and distributed to those in attendance. Because of their interest in the subject, Chicago fire insurance companies and agencies were all invited to send representatives to the meeting.
