School Organization Authorized
Governor Lehman of New York State recently signed a bill authorizing the Erie County Supervisors to set up a training school for the education of the volunteer firemen in Erie County. For years, the Buffalo Fire Department has had a training school for the paid firemen, but previous to this date, little or nothing has been done toward furthering the education of the many volunteer units in Erie County.
