The city commissioner of Adrian. Mich., has been advised by the engineering firm employed by the city to reconstruct the sewer system.

The citizens of Berea, Ohio, voted a bond issue of $85,000 for new sewers. It is planned to rebuild the entire sewer system and to later install a sewage disposal plant.

The town council of Minden. La., has authorized the Kramer Engineering Company to proceed with the plans and specifications for an extended and enlarged system of sanitary sewerage, on which bids will be called as soon as the $120,000 bond issue, already voted, can be marketed.

A contract for a sanitary sewer has been awarded by Massillon, Ohio, for $5,417. The price was said to be below the estimate for the work.

The board of trustees of Stroud, Okla., have called a special election for November 21, to vote bonds in amount of $40,000 for main sewers and sewage disposal plants. The engineers have reported that the cost of the lateral sewers to serve the entire city will be approximately $50,000. The engineers are Benham Engineering Company, Kansas City, Mo. W. B. Kirtley is town clork.
