Takes Charge Trident Boston Office
William H. McGarry, Jr., who has just been released from service by the Navy Dept., has been appointed in charge of the Eastern New England territory— comprising Eastern Massachusetts and Maine—of the Neptune Meter Cornpany, 50 East 42nd Street, New York City. He was formerly in charge of territory of the South and Middle West for the same company. Mr. McGarry enlisted in the United States Navy in the early part of 1917, and was assigned to the transport service. He was on board the Transport President Lincoln, when she was attacked and sunk by a German U-boat, with the loss of several lives. Mr. McGarry was rescued after undergoing many hardships.
