A teenage volunteer firefighter pulled a 52-year-old female victim from a burning home during an overnight fire in Acushnet, Massachusetts.
The 19-year-old firefighter credited two of his colleagues in the rescue, and told FOX 25 (http://bit.ly/WDu8MV) his training prepared him to make the save. Chief Kevin Gallagher says Adam Hebert has only been on the job for six months and that Sunday night was his first major fire.
The woman who was rescued being treated at a hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, for burns to her feet and smoke inhalation.
