Tests of Apparatus at Mansfield
Acceptance tests of new White Company fire apparatus purchased by the city of Mansfield, Ohio, were recently made in the presence of delegations from several other cities. Pumpers working at 60, 100, and 120 pounds pressure were tested. Judging from the results obtained the city is in excellent position to care for fires even though they occur in the business districts. Representatives of the National Board of Fire Underwriters were present, while safety department men from Canton, Urbana, Marion, Elyria, Gabon and Ashland also witnessed the demonstration. A citizens committee from Ashland arrived during the afternoon.
