The following motion, adopted by the New York Board of Fire Underwriters, speaks for itself:
“New York Board of Fire Underwriters,
“Mutual Life Building, 32 Nassau street (Room 710).”
“New York, December 27, 1895.
“Committee on patents and useful devices:—The chairman of the committee on patents and useful devices reported that his committee had delayed reporting on the efficiency of the Ball Nozzle system, until it had been fully tested by the New York fire department. It has now been adopted for general use by said department, and he moved that this board give the Ball Nozzle its approval as an admirable fire protecting appar. atus. The motion was carried.
