The Bay State Firemen’s Club Guests of Quincy Chief
The Massachusetts Fire Chiefs’ Club and friends were guests last week of Fire Chief Faxon Billings, of the Quincy, Mass., fire department, on an inspection trip through the plant of the Fore River Shipyards and the Victory torpedo-boat destroyer plant at Squantum. Before starting on the trip the visitors were entertained at luncheon by Chief Billings. Among the fire chiefs present were: J. C. McDougal, of Hyde Park; C. W. Maxim, of Middleboro; Howard Upham, of Needham; George A. Nason, of Holbrook; William F. Daley, of Brockton; J. H. Holmes, of Milton; M. P. Mitchell, of Hudson; William E. Cade, of Wakefield; John P. Doyle, of Wellesley; E. A. White, of Foxboro; Jesse F. Barrett, of Peabody; Albert J. Smith, of Stoneham; O. O. Ordway, of Reading; H. C. Kimball, of Salem; Henry E. Brenock, of Cohasset; E. R.
