FORT EDWARD, N. Y., Oct. 20, 1895.
“Messrs. Combination Ladder Co., Providence, R. I.
“Gentlemen— The Waldron nozzle equipped with the new (Niagara) spray tip is received. I have tested the same, and find it is all you claim for it. It does everything one could ask. To say I am greatly pleased is putting it mildly. Your suggestion of the 1-inch stream is a good one and is plenty large enough. It does all a nozzle can do and besides has the finest spray I have ever seen. Yours truly. Geo. Matthews, Chief of Fire Department.”
“ Combination Ladder Co., Providence, It. I. “Gentlemen:—The flexible pipes equipped with the Waldron nozzles with the new (Niagara) spray tips are received, tested, and perfectly satisfactory. The spray is magnificent. Duplicate order at once. Get them here by Friday, if possible. N. H. Sears, Chief of Fire Department.”
