THE HARNESS HANGER TROLLEY.

THE HARNESS HANGER TROLLEY.

The new device, sold by S. F. Hayward & Co.. 557 Canal street, New York, is worthy of men_____ It was designed for fire houses in which the ceilings are too low to permit using the ordinary harness hangers, which, after dropping the harness, are a hindrance to the apparatus and driver passing under. The new harness hanger trolley consists of the ordinary hanger attached by a rope to a small carriage running on a steel rod hung from the ceiling and working automatically by weights. When the harness is dropped on a horse, the hanger springs towards the ceiling and to one side at the same time, thereby leaving no obstructions that would interefere with the apparatus or driver when passing under.
