The I. A. F. E. Directors’ Meeting
The preliminary meeting next week of the officers and directors of the International Association of Fire Engineers at Richmond, Va., the convention city, is for the purpose of setting the date of the fifty-first annual convention of the association and also of arranging the program and all the other important details of that gathering.
The convention this year meets in a city accessible to all parts of the country and one noted for its hospitality. San Francisco set a high pace last year at the jubilee convention as regards entertainment of the delegates, but there is no doubt but that Richmond will bold its own.
It is not a day too soon for chiefs to begin to make plans to attend the Richmond convention. All who hesitated at the large expense involved in the California trip and did not attend last year, should make it a point to go to Richmond.
