The Tentative Order for the Annual Convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers to be Held in Kansas City, Mo., on June 24 to 27 Indications for a Large and Successful Meeting

Following is the tentative program of the convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers, to be held at Kansas City, Mo., on June 24 to 27. As indications now point, the convention will be one of the largest and most successful conventions the association has ever held.

Tuesday, June 24

8:00 A. M.—Registration of Delegates, Doric Room, Hotel Baltimore.

9:00 A. M.—Informal Reception to Ladies, Elizabethian Parlor, Hotel Baltimore.

10:30 A. M.—Opening Session of Convention, Renaissance Room and Balcony, Hotel Baltimore. Invocation: Right Reverend Bishop Thomas F. Lillis. Address of Welcome: Hon. James Cowgill, Mayor of Kansas City. Remarks: Alex Henderson, Chief Fire Department, Kansas City.

2:30 P. M.’—Ladies meet in Elizabethian Parlor, Hotel Baltimore, to be escorted on tour of Shopping District.

2:30 P. M.—Business Session of Convention, Francis I Room, Hotel Baltimore.

7:30 P. M.—Ladies meet in Elizabethian Parlor, Hotel Baltimore, to be escorted to Memorial Services.

8:00 P. M.—Memorial Services at Elks Club, 7th and Grand Avenue. Invocation: Right Reverend Bishop Sidney C. Partridge. Memorial Address: Hon. Floyd Jacobs.

Exhibition daily at Convention Hall, 13th and Central Streets, 9:00 A. M. until 10:00 P. M.—Admission Free.

Wednesday, June 25

9:00 A. M—Visiting Exhibition at Convention Hall.

2:00 P. M.-—-Ladies meet in Elizabethian Parlor, Hotel Baltimore, to be escorted to Electric Park.

Outing Day at Electric Park: 6.00 A. M.—Twelve-hour test of Pumping Engines, at Electric Park. Official test by Engineers of National Board of Fire Underwriters under direction of George W. Booth, Chief Engineer, and Exhibit Committee.

2:00 P. M.—-Round Table Discussion, in Theatre, Electric Park.

3:30 P. M.—Band Concert.

6:00 P. M.—Refreshments.

7:00 P. M.—Band Concert.

9:00 P. M.—Special Electric Fountain Display.

9:15 P. M. to 11:30 P. M.—“Summer Review” in Silhouette Gardens, for Delegates and Ladies Dancing, with Special Jazz Orchestra.

(Troost Avenue, Rockhill or Woodland Avenue Car Lines to Electric Park. Admission to Park Free to Delegates with Badges.)

Thursday, June 26

9:30 A. M.—Business Session, Francis I Room, Hotel Baltimore.

12:00 Noon—Parade of the Kansas City Fire Department. Review for Delegates and Ladies, Baltimore Avenue, Hotel Baltimore.

1:30 P. M.—Ladies meet at Fire Headquarters for motor trip to Kansas City Automobile Club.

2:30 P. M.—Business Session, Francis 1 Room, Hotel Baltimore.

3:30 P. M.—Refreshments at Kansas City Automobile Club.

7:00 P. M.—Banquet to Delegates and Ladies at Hotel Baltimore, Francis 1 Room, White Room, Renaissance Room. Address: ‘Safety”, C. W. Price, General Manager, National Safety Council, Chicago, Ill.

9:00 P. M.—Round Table Discussion, Hotel Baltimore.

Friday, June 27

9:30 A. M.—Business Session, Francis I Room, Hotel Baltimore.

11:00 A. M. to 2:00 P. M.—“Novelty” Tea for Ladies, Eagles Club, 1120 Central Street.

1:30 P. M.—-Business Session, Francis I Room, Hotel Baltimore.

4:00 P. M.—Delegates and Ladies meet at Convention Hall for Automobile Drive over Parks and Boulevards.
