The Jamaica Water Company.
The control of the Jamaica, N. Y., Water Supply company has recently gone out of the hands of C. A. Lockwood & Co., who have held control of the corporation since its organisation. It is stated that M. J. Drummond, of 182 Broadway, Manhattan, has purchased the controling interest of the company at the price of $150 per share. Mr. Drummond has refused to disclose the price at which he purchased the stock, but did say that he thought by purchasing he was making a safe investment. The transfer of stock is said to have been made early in the year.
