The Pawtucket Department.
Chief John Brierly of the Pawtucket (R. I.) Fire Department is one of the few men in this country who have acquired a national reputation as fire fighters. Pawtucket, while not a very large city, about 30,000 inhabitants, has a most valuable fire area, including as it does many acres of mill and factory properties.
