Town of Ford to Have Filtration Plant

A new filtration plant which will serve the towns of Ford, Riverside, Walkerville, Windsor, Sandwich. Sandwich West, and Ojibway, Ont., Can., is being erected. The plant is only a short distance from the new $12,000,000 factory erected by the Ford Motor Company. The filtration plant, according to Engineer J. Clark Keith, is to have a capacity of 20,000,000 gallons a day, filtered by the rapid sand process. The pumps will be electrically-driven. Considerable progress has been made in the work since the cessation of severe cold weather.
