The Cleveland Milling Machine Company, Cleveland, Ohio, has issued a neatly printed eight page circular, 9 x 12 inches, printed on buff paper, on the subject of their Universal and Plain Milling Machines. The circular illustrates and describes the machines in detail. It is accompanied with five other single page circulars giving the specifications respectively of Nos. 1 and 2 Cleveland, Universal and Plain milling machines, and describing the Vertical Spindle Milling Attachment.
Graphite for May, issued by the Joseph Dixon Crucible Company, Jersey City, N. J., contains an illustrated description of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company’s Oil Gas Plant, at Fresno, Cal., and other interesting matter in connection with the products of the company.
The Springfield Engineering Company, Springfield, Ohio, has issued a very handsome catalogue of its Municipal Equipment, 9 x 12 inches, 32 pages, with a cover in three colors. The left hand pages are devoted to illustrations of the “Seco” portable pumping and sprinkling apparatus, and the right to the descriptions.
Service, the monthly organ of the Service Motor Truck Company, Wabash, Ind., has an article on the “Motorized Parcels Post” and other newsy features in regard to motor trucks and their service. There is a two-page group picture of the Fifth Annual Sales Convention of the company’s organization members.
The White Type B Triple Combination Pumping Engine, Chemical and Hose Car, is described and illustrated in a recently issued catalogue, 9 x 12 inches, cover in blue, red and black, showing the apparatus at work at a fire. The White Company, Cleveland, Ohio, in this catalogue shows pictures of several of these cars in use by various fire departments, with descriptions of capacities, performance, etc., and details of the power plant, chassis gear pump, gears, pump casing, and so on.
