A firefighter was injured Sunday night during the response to a fire at the Tulsa Rowing Club boathouse, reports indicate.

The Tulsa World said the fire started inside the club’s boathouse about 10 p.m. The flames spread outside and started  a grass fire.

Part of the ceiling made of plywood collapsed and landed on a firefighter operating inside the structure, the report said. The firefighter was hospitalized, treated, and released, but he will require further evaluation.
