VOLUNTEERS GREET HOLSTEIN
Harrisburg, Pa.—Several hundred local firemen, together with prominent city, county and State officials, greeted County Commissioner Howard O. Holstein, the newly elected president of the State Firemen’s Association upon his arrival in the city from WilkesBarre.
The Friendship, Citizens’, Hope and Allison Hill companies had their fire apparatus out, and an impromptu parade was featured. There was a short walk-around winding up at the Veteran Firemen’s Association Home in Boas street.
President Holstein, Lieutenant Governor H. E. Beidleman. Mayor George A. Hoverter and others made addresses, followed by a reception and an open house to all firemen.
