Wage Boost for Oswego Firemen
For the first time in 18 years, Oswego, N. Y., firemen have been given a salary increase, it is disclosed by James R. Jackson, city alderman.
This increase was secured without any public campaign or a taxpayer’s election. Twice previously, efforts to secure increases by election met with failure.

In addition, firemen this year will work 60 hours as against a former longer work period.
