Water at Osage.

Water at Osage.

At Osage, Kan., the final inspection of the source of water supplied from springs, also, the collection of storage water, has been made. The official report states its belief that the possibilities are for a most excellent water supply, with a filtering system in addition to the storage-plant. There are many cities in Kansas whose prospect for a filter supply is not so good as here. The water at Osage, after being put through a modern filtration plant, will meet the standard required by a biological examination. The conditions there are very favorable. The flow now in the creek and the extent of drainage indicate a supply of water which will meet the requirements of a city of many times its population. The sanitary condition surrounding the water site is unusually favorable.
