Water Company Shows Profit
The municipally owned and operated water plant of Green Bay, Wis., serving 6,332 water consumers, ended the year 1922 with a profit of $25,514.01, according to a financial statement just published. This leaves a surplus of $54,566.98 for the two years of city operation after having met the bond and interest redemption fund and depreciation fund requirements, and the operation and maintenance charges and supplies. During the past year a large cement reservoir was added to the equipment and some extensions were made. On the new line extensions 254 new consumers were added.
