Water Notes From Lockport.
A correspondent writes that the aldermen of Lockport, N. Y., have decided to pay to the city of North Tonawanda the $848 taxes imposed on Lockport’s new water supply pumping station. The payment, however, will be under protest and the matter will be taken into court.
Another suit against the city has come out of the water supply. Frank Laubacker of the town of Lockport claims $930 damages to seven acres of land through floods in connection with the construction of the Lockport water supply pipe-line.
