Water Works Men Fly

The last day of the convention was signalized by airplane trips, under the direction of Captain Edward J. Thom, the planes flying over the city and Mount Royal and executing the rocker, tail spin, loop-the-loop and all the other stunts familiar to the flying fraternity. Several venturesome members of the convention party took advantage of this opportunity to rise in the world and took part in these flights. Those who did so were: P. P. Dean, New York Manager, Cutler Hammer Company and Mrs. Dean; Scotland G. Highland, Secretary & General Manager, Water Board, Clarksburg, W. Va.; I. A. Rowe and J. S.
