Waterworks Suit at Birmingham, Ala.
The Birmingham, Ala., Waterworks company has been made defendeut in the Circuit court to a suit for $5,000 on the ground that P. R. Weaver, the plaintiff, was put to great inconvenience because his water supply was cut off. The plaintiff avers that the house is located at 523 Seventeenth street, south, and that it was operated as a boardinghouse. It is averred the water pipes were disconnected on January 22. 1908, thereby depriving him and his family and boarders of the use of water and causing the plaintiff to lose a number of boarders.
