Work of West Virginia Firemen

In a report to the West Virginia Firemen’s Association by C. F. Reininger, President, the work of the association for the past year was outlined.

A bill for a two per cent tax is to be presented to the legislature. For the past six years, a firemen’s school has been held at Morgantown. At the past school, 140 firemen attended. In addition regional schools were held at Charleston, Bluefield, Parson, Weston and Wheeling, and there were also winter classes.

The officers of the association are C. F. Reininger, Charlestown, President; W. D. McCauley, Moorefield, First Vice-President; L. P. Weltley, Martinsburg, Second Vice-President; F. N. Clark, Clareston, Third VicePresident; H. G. Fridinger, Martinsburg, Secretary; W. W. Long, Keyser, Treasurer.
