Brush Fire Danger at Highest Levels in Years

Firefighters in parts of Kentucky are saying the drought and record high temperatures are creating some of the worst brush fire conditions they’ve seen in more than a decade, reports WLWT5

Alexander said the number of fires they have responded to has increased in the past several weeks, including a fire Thursday night that was caused by outdoor burning that spread to a home.

Burn bans are in affect for 103 of Kentucky’s 120 counties.
