A chimney fire in Williamson County sent three people, including a firefighter, to the hospital for treatment Thursday.
According to WSMV, the incident occurred just before 2:00 p.m. at a home on Hillwood Lane. Firefighters from Williamson County Fire/Rescue arrived to find smoke coming from the eaves and floor of the home’s first floor.
Due to a nearby hydrant being out of service, several tankers were called to assist with the fire suppression efforts.
Two individuals were treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation, while a firefighter sustained minor injuries and was also treated.
