A five-year-old boy is the latest victim of a deadly Key West fire last week that left his parents and seven-year-old brother dead, authorities said.

The Thursday blaze that consumed a multi-family housing development, at 1010 Emma Street, killed 7-year-old Dave Decimy and his parents Evelyn Pierre, 38, and Jean Decimy, 41, according to Key West Fire Department.

Authorities have now confirmed their child, 5-year-old Sadrac Decimy, died Saturday morning at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Two other siblings — a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, remain in HCA Kendall in stable condition, said Key West police spokesperson Alyson Crean.

While the cause of the fire has not been officially stated, a law enforcement source told the Miami Herald that an initial investigation indicates the source of the fire was a space heater.
