Denton (TX) Firefighter Back At Work 10 Months After Leg Amputation

A Denton firefighter whose left leg had to be amputated last fall is back on duty, reports 21 CBS DFW.

Gary Weiland had to learn to walk again with a prosthesis and train for months to get back to the job.

Doctors told Weiland it would take a year or two before he’d get back to active duty. He did it in 10 months.
