A fire severely damaged a Wilmington home and sent a firefighter to the hospital, reports Delaware Online.
Crews made an aggressive interior attack, battling the fire in a rear bedroom. It extended to the attic of an adjacent home before firefighters put the fire under control at 1:40 a.m.
There was no one inside the home. An injured firefighter was taken to the hospital for “examination and treatment.” Battalion Chief John M. Looney did not report any further details.
