Montgomery County (MD) Firefighters Dispatched to Wrong Address

Montgomery County firefighters were led by a 911 dispatcher to the wrong house in the wrong city during a fire, reports WJLA ABC 7.

Police say the 911 dispatcher misunderstood the person who called and sent firefighters to 2005 Piccard Drive in Rockville – 10 miles away from the actual fire.

Police say the firefighters arrived four minutes later. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue says after arriving they rescued a grandmother and her adult grandson. And they also rescued a dog.
