PITTSFIELD, N.H. (AP) — A utility terrain vehicle struck a downed tree on a hay field and crashed, seriously injuring one of the four people riding it, New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers said Friday.

The vehicle was being driven on private property on the Pittsfield and Gilmanton town line early Friday.

Amy Lecates, 32, of Pittsfield, a passenger, suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The other three people were not hurt.

All four were wearing seat belts, officers said.
