APPARATUS DELIVERIES

The Riverside County, CA, Fire Department, affiliated with the California Department of Forestry, recently took delivery of 15 new pumpers made by FMC Corporation’s Fire Apparatus Division. The identical vehicles are 1,000-gpm Class "A" triple combination pumpers, built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis. All are powered with a 330-hp Detroit diesel 6V92TA engine and are equipped with Allison HT-740 automatic transmission. The units each include a Hale QSMF-125 HD midship pump, vertical stacked crosslays, and a Hale 20 FD independent pumping unit.
