APPARATUS DELIVERIES

The Lebanon (OR) Fire District has placed in service two frontmount pumpers built by Western States on White-GMC-Autocar conventional chassis. Fire Chief Larry A. Arnold says that his department covers an area of about 156 square miles with a population of 35,000. It serves both city and rural areas. “We designed our new pumpers to cope with both structural as well as wildland fires in hydranted and nonhydranted areas," says the chief.
