The Model X, Tesla’s foray into the realm of sports utility vehicles, may present specific challenges to responders in the event of accidents. According to the Tesla site, the electric vehicle is expected to earn high safety ratings; it can seat up to seven comfortably, and can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in as little as 3.2 seconds.
