Advanced Extrication: Tesla Model X

In this new video for firefighters and first responders, Brock Archer of Advanced Extrication and Denver (CO) Assistant Fire Chief Randall Wells take a closer look at the Tesla Model X. The Model X, Tesla’s foray into the realm of sports utility vehicles, may present specific challenges to responders in the event of accidents. According to the Tesla site, the electric vehicle is expected to earn high safety ratings; it can seat up to seven comfortably, and can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in as little as 3.2 seconds.
