Boston (MA) Firefighters Rescue 15 from Apartment Arson Fire

Boston (MA) firefighters rescued 15 people trapped by a massive, intentionally-set fire at apartments in the Roxbury neighborhood.

Residents trapped on the third floor by the explosion and fire were rescued from the windows. In one instance, a young boy was dropped from the top floor to a firefighter waiting below.

The late-night fire at the three-story apartment building eventually grew to six alarms. Police told boston.com that the fire had been deliberately set.

At least 42 apartments were damaged or destroyed, and at least 11 residents were brought to area hospitals for a variety of injuries. Two injured firefighters were also transported. For more details, CLICK HERE.
