Firefighter Helps Rescue Girl from Hot Car

A firefighter and his wife helped rescue a girl trapped in a hot car Tuesday in Pinellas Park, Florida.

According to WTSP (http://on.wtsp.com/1kvFkIn), the girl was stuck there for 40 minutes while her mother shopped at a retail store. The mother faces charges of neglect, despite insisting the child was okay because the vehicle’s air conditioning was one.

The unidentified firefighter called 911 after his wife noticed the child in the car.
