A 30-year-old construction worker was buried waist-deep in mud, 15 feet down a trench at a work site in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York.

The Fire Department of New York Collapse Unit  was on the scene and working to shore up the trench with wood while a “vacuum truck” from Con Edison was sucking mud from the hole.

More than two after after the initial call, the worker was safely removed to an awaiting EMS ambulance.
