According to a report from KOIN, several buildings under construction collapsed in the northeast section of Portland, Oregon, in the early-morning hours when a two-alarm fire struck multiple structures on Killingsworth Street and Northeast 36th Avenue.
Shortly before 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Portland Fire & Rescue (PFR) arrived on scene to find some of the structures already partially collapsed. PFR crews prevented flames from spreading to a neighboring home.
In several social media posts, the PFR said a three-story high wall was at risk of falling.
The PFR said it had extinguished the flash a little before 3 a.m.
There are no reports of any injures, and PFR said they will begin investigating the cause of the fire.
