Multiple People Killed in NJ Crash When Car Goes Down Embankment

Multiple people were killed when a vehicle careened down an embankment in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, according to reports.

The crash occurred early Tuesday in when the car went crashing into a park near the Glen Ridge train station, according to ABC 7. The number of fatalities was not known as of this writing.

Bloomfield Avenue, a main thoroughfare into the city of Newark, was closed for the investigation, the ABC 7 report said.

At least two victims were confirmed dead inside the vehicle, but rescue personnel were working frantically trying to remove other victims, according to RLS Media.
