Technical Rescue

In addition to battling fires, firefighters are nowadays called to all manner of incidents. And while rescue is not always technical, many times specialty crews are required to handle those low-frequency, high-risk emergencies that threaten the public, from swiftwater and open water rescue to structural collapse, storm response, USAR, and the like.
