This past week several Ocala firefighters received promotions and one fire captain was recognized by the Florida College System.
Ocala Fire Rescue is proud to announce the following promotions: Brian Cribbs, Chris Dyer and James Bowlin were promoted to the rank of Captain. Eric Prendergast, Will Roberts and Steve Hering were promoted to the rank of Fire Equipment
Fire Captain Shane Ferguson received the “Bob Graham Distinguished Service Award” from the Florida College System Student Government Association. The award was presented to Shane Ferguson in recognition of his assistance to the College of Central Florida with their mock DUI program. This award was presented at a banquet in Tallahassee on April 4th.
“These individuals have demonstrated a passion for serving the citizens in this City, and I am proud of their effort to do great things,” states Fire Chief Bradd Clark.
