Fire photographer Zack Warburg shared some photos from a February 2017 incident in Santa Barbara, California, in which firefighters managed to rescue a cat from the fire.
In the photos, Engineer Jack Franklin with the Santa Barbara Fire Department provides oxygen to a cat that had been rescued from a structure fire in downtown Santa Barbara. The fire occurred just after 8 a.m. on February 16, 2017 in a single-story duplex. The flames were contained to the room of origin. The only injury reported was to the cat, which was treated at the scene.
