The Fleetwood (PA) Fire Department uses its AMTECH rescue truck for rescue and support lighting, according to Chief Chris Young. The new truck`s advantages over the old one include a more powerful engine, additional storage space, a patient care area, command center capabilities, and increased lighting. The borough is one square mile of mostly urban area; the department provides mutual aid to a nine-square-mile suburban and rural area.
