Yakima (WA) Firefighters Rescue Truck Driver from Precarious Situation

Yakima (WA) firefighters rescued a truck driver who was reportedly pinned in his cab for an hour after a dangerous rollover situation.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reported that the driver, a 51-year-old male, was pinned in the cab of his semi tractor after the big rolled while taking a U.S. Highway 97 exit at Union Gap on Wednesday morning.

The trailer, loaded with paper products, landed at the edge of a creek, and it took firefighters almost 90 minutes for crews to stabilize the truck and safely remove the man.
