Photographer Mike Daly shared some images from the Carr Fire, a wildland fire that began in July 2018 in California and led to the deaths of three firefighters.

As of now, the Carr Fire has burned 229,651 acres in Shasta and Trinity counties, destroying 1,079 residences, 22 commercial structures, and 503 outbuildings, as well as damaging hundreds of other buildings. The fire is nearly 90-percent contained. The fire continues to burn actively within containment lines.
